Like any good modern Texas love story, ours started with an Instagram DM — sent by Ashley to Jensen (confidence is key!). She asked him to take her turkey hunting, and from that moment on, life had other plans. Jensen invited Ashley and some friends out to the ranch, and it felt like home right away. Between dusty roads, Can-Am rides, new friendships, and laughing so hard our cheeks hurt, it didn’t take long to realize something special was happening.

Not long after, Jensen asked Ashley on their first official date at a local Mexican restaurant in Boerne, TX. One date quickly turned into talking every single day, and before they knew it, they were completely inseparable. Just a few weeks later, they headed west to Midland to visit friends — and Ashley got a surprise she didn’t see coming. Jensen asked her to be his girlfriend… twice (because once just wasn’t enough ❤️). From that point on, they were all in.

When Ashley’s lease in New Braunfels came to an end, Jensen asked her to take a leap of faith and move in with him at the ranch. She said yes, packed up her life, and started an exciting new chapter. Their days quickly filled with early mornings, long golden sunsets, hunting trips, fishing days, backyard cookouts with friends, and all the simple moments that make ranch life so special — plus plenty of adventures with their two loyal sidekicks, Millie and Shiloh.

Then came April 2025 — a trip straight out of a dream. Ashley was surprised with an invitation to join the Fry family on a once-in-a-lifetime hunting trip to Africa. The adventure was full of laughter, unforgettable views, and memories they’ll cherish forever. On the second-to-last day, everyone headed to Mkuze Falls to watch the sun dip below the horizon. With the African sunset glowing behind them and a heart full of love and nerves, Jensen got down on one knee and asked Ashley to be his forever. Through happy tears and the biggest smiles, she said YES.

The night ended exactly how it should — celebrating with incredible food, good drinks, and the people they love most. It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment and the beginning of their greatest adventure yet — one built on faith, laughter, friendship, and a whole lot of love.
